Prof. Omur Polat Ozsoy received her Dental Degree from Hacettepe University and her PhD degree in Orthodontics from Selcuk University. She worked as a full-time faculty member at Baskent University between 2004-2017 where she got her professorship. Currently, Dr Ozsoy is working in her private practice and she’s a part-time lecturer at Baskent University. She is an active member of American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontics and European Society of Lingual Orthodontics. Prof. Ozsoy is in the Editorial Board of The Angle Orthodontist and Journal of World Federation of Orthodontics and serves as a reviewer to many national and international journals. Her academic interests include pain in orthodontics, skeletal anchorage, lingual orthodontics, orthognathic surgery and indirect bonding.
